Losing internet on iPhones with Armor App installed
Hello, I recently purchased the 1 year subscription for Netgear Armor and almost daily whether we are connected to Wifi in our home or Away on LTE we both loose all internet access on our iPhones ...

RBR750. I have this same issue on all apple devices, including my Apple TV's. Armor on, buffering, Armor off, no buffering AT ALL. It is pretty clear Armor is causing the problem. And it's pretty clear from all of the posts in this forum that Armor is 1. confusing/frustrating to install, 2. causes throttling of your internet connection and 3. that Netgear support has degregaded to the point that now you actually have to pay them to get an answer to an issue they created if you've owned your product more than 90 days (and good luck then even finding a tech that can answer your question - is it Netgear or is it Bitdefender?). Netgear/Armor need to question why there is a need for a special section with thousands of posts all devoted to issues with Netgear/Armor. This partnership between Netgear and Armor has, in my opinion, given both of them a bad name, which is unfortunate, because individually, they were great (at least Netgear was when they actually provided support). My experience has been so dissatisfactory that my next router will not be a Netgear.

Does anyone know when Armor on the iPhone is going to work again. I removed it because I was having the same problem noted above. I am past 90 days so can't get support. Basically screwed. I can't believe how long it takes for them to solve such a serious issue whereby people have to remove Armor VPN from their phone. Very frustrated with Netgear.
- JeffgearDec 29, 2021VirtuosoBrowsing to a new URL either appears to hang or takes a long time from my iPhone 12 Pro Max with Armor enabled. If I pause Armor then browsing is responsive and normal. What seems to fix it for a period of time is to kill safari, kill Armor, reboot the iPhone, restart Armor and enable web protection, then safari browsing responds fine. Armor seems to need a periodic kick. I’ve seen the same on my Armor protected iPad. However my MacBook Pro is fine and has been running Armor for months with no issues browsing sites although it’s been through a few MacOS upgrade reboots that have no doubt restarted Armor. Hopefully this is a known issue with iOS devices seeming to stall when trying to browse and will be resolved as it’s useful to have Armor on my iOS devices.
