Netgear Armor on RBR750 not available

Ater several days of significant connection issues after a Comcast outage, I paid for and reactivated the Netgear Armor subscription.  As part of trying to fix the Internet connection issues, I have swapped out modems a few times and have renamed my wireless network a few times.  In the process of doing all this, I seem to have lost my subscription to Netgear and can find no way to activate.  Because the warranty is past on the router, I can't get any tech support on the Armor subscription.  

 

All firmware/software is current.

  • FW  is 4.6.5.14 whcih I had checked and was shown to be current. The app and web would only let me purchase a new subscription.

     

    However, Netgear Armor started working again on its own so the problem resolved itself.

    Is armor appearing on the RBRs web page or in the Orbi app? 

     

    What FW version is loaded on the RBR?

    How to Start a Free Trial or Purchase NETGEAR Armor
    30-day Free Trial Activation
    To activate NETGEAR Armor using the Nighthawk or Orbi app:

    Connect your mobile device to your router's WiFi network
    Launch the Orbi or Nighthawk app
    Tap Security
    Enter your NETGEAR account credentials and tap the NETGEAR SIGN IN button
    Tap ACTIVATE
    Tap Security from your Orbi or Nighthawk app dashboard to launch NETGEAR Armor

     


    How to Purchase
    To purchase Armor:

    Launch the Orbi or Nighthawk App
    Tap Security
    Armor detects that your subscription status and a screen displays with subscription information
    Tap Confirm
    Provide the required payment information
    Tap the confirmation button at the bottom of your screen to confirm your purchase
    Note: Please allow 24 hours for Armor activation to take effect
