Netgear Armor picking up and blocking constant threats - alarming!

My husbands I-phone has been receiving a constant barrage of threats (see photos attached). All have been blocked, but they are very alarming to me.  Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?  Any recommendations on what to do next?
