Netgear Armor won't load on Mac
The Netgear Armor app doesn't load on my iMac (macOS Ventura) or Macbook (macOS Sequoia). I can install it ok, but when I try to open the app, I just get a page asking me to "Allow all security modul...

My faith in Netgear and more, in Bitdefender has been restored. I had an online troubleshooting session with one of the Bitdefender technical reps (Vlad) and he was able to get the Netgear Armor app to fully open and function on both my Macbook Pro M2 (running Sequoia) and my iMac (running Ventura).
I tried to watch what he was doing and it seems the location where he got the installation package from was a bit different from where I was getting it. After uninstalling everything (including VPN), he then went to the site link armor.netgear.com/dashboard. He downloaded the installation package from the Dashboard tab. There is a tile on the top left side of the "Security Dashboard" page which is called "My devices". From there he selected "Install NETGEAR Products" and waited for the package to download. Then he installed and it worked.
If you still run into problems, I suggest you arrange an online troubleshooting session with Bitdefender tech reps (not Netgear, they'll just ask you to reset your router). You might need to open a support ticket first.
Good luck! I'm a happy camper now

Good to know I am not completely out of my mind on this issue. I really wish Armor would work on my Macbook M2 and older iMac. I like the way it checks all my attached devices as well as for malware and virus's. But if you can't get it to open (aside from a remote web app command), then it's not really user friendly.
From what I've learned so far is there's a security programming issue within Armor that prevents it from opening to the home page, instead always reverts to the screen asking you to "Allow all security modules to run.." This is for any Mac running Ventura or newer. Bitdefender staff essentially admit to it, but have not come up with a fix...yet. I have a teleconference with them tomorrow about it and will see.
I keep getting requests from Netgear staff to reset my router or provide router logs. Nonsense, this issue has nothing to do with the router, it's pure and simple app programming. I have even gone as far as to bypass my router altogether and install from a cell link but still get the same issue.
I don't have a lot of confidence that either Bitdefender or Netgear will solve this in the short term. Just not enough of us Mac users complaining about it to make them take us seriously. So I really hope they will give me a complimentary subscription to Bitdefender Total Security which does work on my Macs in place of the Armor subscription that came with my new router (at a premium). Maybe in a year it will get solved.
Sorry for being long winded, it's a bit therapeutic to vent to someone who has the same problem. I guess misery does love company after all. If I do get it solved, I will certainly post what that fix is, but don't hold your breath.

I am having same issue, any solutions yet?

Yes, look at my previous post on this thread. Basically, the answer is to contact Bitdefender and arrange a phone/TeamViewer troubleshooting session. They were able to get everything installed and working properly.
