Orbi AX6000 - Security Tab: "Device Is Offline"
Purchased an Orbi via Ebay. Took hitting the factory reset button to get it to cooperate in Setup. Now I'd like to add Armor to the router, but when I click the Security tile in the app it just says...

Looks like that version was just released.
did you do the factory reset after you loaded that firmware or before?
If it was before, try the factory reset 1 more time.
If that doesn't help, you'd need to contact support for help adding armor.
To get a hold of support for subscriptions services like Armor/Circle, click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process.

Click on: My Support---->Contact Support---->Get help with my subscription serviceI believe it was before. At first I could not get the setup to work. Kept getting an error message that it wasn't able to get an address from DHCP.
It's going to be a bit of a shennanigan to reset yet again, as my family will come for my scalp. I'll have to find a time when they are away at the same time.
Anyone have any firsthand experience (i.e. opinions) on using Armor on their router? I'm not planning to use it on my PCs.

I've used armor and it has its benefits because its pretty user friendly.
I used it for a 90 days trial and it was nice to have.
But I'm a bit of a cheap A**.
So I just use a pi-hole for dns ad/scam filtering and then standard best practices and malware/antivirus.

Glad it worked for your!
Hope armor works out well for you.
I know netgear has been looking at rolling out gameboost for the 7 and 8 series but I don't know if its available yet for public use. I think that'll have a free trial period as well if you do much gaming to try out.
