Password issue
I've had this router a long time. I set it up with a long, complex password. Now when I try to access the router to set up a guest channel, the router login menu says my password is limited to 15 c...

You could always factory reset the router and start over. Push and hold reset while its powered on. Usually 7-15 seconds but the lights should change when its held long enough.
It's a N150 wireless WNR1000v3. I listed it below the subject, but it didn't "take" - probably too old. I was hoping to avoid the "reset" option, but it looks like I might not be able to.

Thats quite a bit older of a device and was very basic even when it was released 10 years ago.
Unless you're on some pretty slow dsl, an upgrade might show you some significant gains/performance improvement.
