For me I am using Windows 11 with an ARM processor. When I had an Intel based computer I could install Armor, which would install and register Bitdefender. Armor Bitdefender downloaded from my Or...

I'm having the exact same problem with my new Microsoft Surface laptop with the Snapdragon processor which is an ARM64 CPU. The installer seems like it will start but then nothing happens. I can install Bitdefender directly from their website, but there's no link to the Netgear Armor subscription.
Netgear please fix this install issue for ARM64 devices. They're only going to be more common. I may not renew my subscription otherwise.

My setup is MacBook Pro M3, which is ARM based. Windows 11 ARM runs fine, and Bitdefender (from their site) runs fine. Netgear Armor doesn't do anything at all when the installer is run. Pretty pathetic not to support ARM processors since they have been supported by Windows for over 3 years already!

Something to make contact with NG support about and ask:

I contacted support for the Armor subscription but they couldn't find a solution despite going through several different options. I do have an open support ticket now though, so we'll see if they address this issue. I have my doubts.

If your custom PC has an ARM processor then it seems to be a reported issue. The Netgear Armor installer does not work with the PC like Microsoft Surface Pro, M series Macs running Parallels, etc. It seems to only install with Intel and AMD type CPUs.
Bitdefender itself will install and run fine from their web site, but Bitdefender installed this way won't use your Armor subscription. I tried Netgear customer support twice but they were not able to assist, and suggested I contact Bitdefender. Bitdefender said the Armor installer was 4 years old and that they had no control over the Netgear installer.
So glad my Armor subscription just auto-renewed for another year!
