Shifting from Bitdefender for Mac, to Netgear Armor
Hi,
I've got a Nighthawk router. Prior to purchase, I also had Bitdefender for Mac running on my computer. My Bitdefender subscription is up, so I went to uninstall Bitdefender, and install Netgear Armor. My steps were:
Complete uninstall of Bitdefender for Mac
(although not prompted to) I rebooted my Mac
I used the link provided to download Netgear Armor which was https://armor-install.com/
Rather than installing Armor, it re-downloaded my last version of Bitdefender that was just uninstalled. Further, it did not even prompt me to sign in to it! My hunch is, I've just downloaded the exact same software I just uninstalled. And that I do not have Netgear Armor on my system.
I realize both are Bitdefender products! But I was under the impression that Netgear Armor would be branded as such, and not appear as "Bitdefender for Mac".
So my question is, how do I know if I have the correct software? I can't yet tell by subscription, because my Bitdefender subscription is still active for another week.
Thanks

Hi VJOGuy,
I've linked an article below on how to activate NETGEAR Armor using the Nighthawk app. Can you perform the steps and let me know the outcome.

While I appreciate the offer to help, this doesn't address/help me gain access to the router settings via web interface. The Nighthawk app is actually quite limited in it's functionality and settings it provides access to.
