Upgraded to Premium VPN. Armor app doesn't recognize it

So I went to the support chat line. I cut & pasted the above issue. They said to uninstall the updated vpn app and follow the instructions given in a link they provided to update the vpn via the Armor app.
I now have two subscriptions for the upgraded vpn. One from Bitdefender and one from Armor. This merging of the two companies products really isn't clean. :(
