VPN IP location?

 Long and short does Armour Plus VPN change my location IP for everything? I was going to try the trial (1 day instead of 30 due to the age of my RBR50) and it showed LA for a minute or two but by the time I got to the TV to see if it fixed a location based issue for a streaming service it was back to Jackson, MS which is "normal" for my system. The short fall of Armour and its 200mg a day is what I am guessing. Armour Plus is supposed to be unlimited VPN but I want to verify before subscribing.
