Circle blocks duckduckgo with safe search

I would like to enforce safe search on my kids' profile, but turning safe search apparently prevents duckduckgo.com from loading.  It's not blocked precisely, just starts loading and hangs.  Youtube.com is blocked on my son's school ipad, but he can watch videos on duckduckgo (and only on duckduckgo), bypassing the school restrictions.  With Orbi's safe search on he can't do that either, and that's a source of a lot of contention.

 

Is this a known bug?   The router is running the latest version, 2.7.2.102.

    Hello fruzzled,

     

    Does the issue persist on all profiles and/or filtering level? Does setting the devices to unmanaged resolve the issue?

      Yes, I tried a few profiles, both custom and preconfigured, and DuckDuckGo is not loading with any of them.
