Circle managed devices can't do 5G

Question

Apparently my devices managed by the Circle app can only do 2.4Ghz. I can't take advantage of the 5Ghz speed in my router unless I mark my son's devices as unmanaged.

Anyone know if there's a way around this or if Circle plans to add 5G support. Seems like a pretty big oversight.

Note, I'm using Circle 1st gen. I don't think 2nd gen only works with Circle hardware, but I could be wrong.

Hi cigarsmike, welcome to the community! Circle can manage all the devices within the network and that includes devices that connect to both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz as well as wired devices. You can check the link below.

It depends on the device if it is capable of connecting to 5GHz band.
