Circle seems to be randomly killing Internet ingress/egress from my Orbi starting this week
I have an RBR50 with two satellites. I have had Circle enabled for a number of months now with little issue. We actually use it quite a bit to limit electronics time for the kids. Starting this...

Happy to confirm that two months later, that Disney Circle is operating just fine. No problems.

I came here to search a solution of my circle silently getting turned off occasionally and found this topic. Now I just realized that my internet does work better without intermittent dropping off in these past few days. Now I realized it was because my Circle was somehow turned off. Turning it back on today, and yes, within one hour, my kids jumped and claimed WiFi gone again!
Strange thing is that my firmware version is quite old: v2.3.5.26. I thought Orbi updates firmware automatically. Tried to update firmware by clicking “checking for updates” multiple times and it always returned back saying “something wrong...”. I guess I have the third issue to deal with Orbi.

My only successful fix was to start fresh with a reset and forget network command through the orbi app.
That said, I just added 2 to my 2 satellites, and I get some latency in getting some devices to connect, primarily TV devices like roku, firetv, samsung.
There seems to be a new firmware out, and I am waiting for some reviews prior to the upgrade. Upgrades too seem not to work automatically. I have to download then do a manual update.

I had upgraded to the latest (2.5.1.16) firmware 2 weeks ago. With Circle disabled connectivity was better than before the upgrade, singals to satellite Orbis appeared better as well. No problems. I then turned Circle back on 6 days ago. It was fine, no outages that were noticable. That is until today when it hard-cut all devies from DNS resolution again. My wife was in the middle of giving a presentation to 100+ attendees and dropped for nearly 10 minutes before I was able to disable Circle again. Christian_R I am warning people not to purchase Netgear products due to this issue - and certainly not to purchase a Circle membership. It is obsurd that Netgear does not see this as an issue in need of addressing. I have also contacted Disney letting them know of the damage to their brand being caused by this.

Why would you contact Disney? They are no longer associated with Circle.
