Disney circle enabled on router but circle app not finding it

Circles enabled on router but circle app won't recognize that I have it enabled.  Rebooted the router and phone and reinstalled app.  Still no luck.  The circke directions stated the circle app is supposed to show a netgear option but the app never does for me.  The phone is connected to the router signal.  Anybody know what I'm doing wrong.  I just updated to latest firmware too.
