How to block websites in Netgear router
I tried blocking the websites using router settings Advanced -> Security -> Block Sites. I set Keyword blocking to Always and then entered keyword and domain names (google, google.com, www.google.com) and hit Apply and then reboot the router and restarted the browser. Still I don't see the website blocked. How do I fix this problem? I am using Mesh with Router (MR70). Has anyone faced similar issue? How do I resolve this?

Try using a DNS service like OpenDNS or NextDNS

Most website blocking is broken because of httpS. The s part signifies the encryption between user/sever (simplified). that encryption breaks the blocking. Like FURRYe38 says, one way around that is to use a DNS filtering service. Or even roll your own with something line pihole on the raspberry pi or unbound.
