R8000P & Circle
Hi, Online literature seems to suggest that the R8000P supports Circle. I’ve set up my new router but cannot get it to work. Am I missing something? Or is Circle not supported yet? Thanks, Dan.

Not very sure how long you have to wait until NG really implement Circle on R8000P. Not even sure whether that option is a wise one, until NG really figure it out the very existing problem with wireless disconnection on R8000P.
Not sure whether there is a beta FW, neither.
Things are still in limbo for R8000P.
I personally acquired a used one from one of the forumers here with known fw problem to try to mess around with. So far unsuccessful due to my time restraint committing to other NG project. I will resume my task with R8000P soon.
In short, please do not expect any progress regarding Circle implementation on R's routers (except the ones already have). NG parental controls features does not fare very well, including open DNS.
My R8000 works perfectly fine, with no internet loss problem and any other problems at all, using recent older fw,
Best

Don't buy it, I still have it and also I have buy it for circle since it was advertised to be compatible. But the firmware with circle was remove (beta) and I really à this point I have no hope to see a firmware version with circle.
Also the wifi performance seem really unstable and poor for the price. I need to reboot the router every time the Wan speed on wifi is slow and it works for a while.
So at this price, it's a total rip-off. I'm actually look to replace it a year after getting it..
Buy something else that have better review on stability.
