Using C7000 as modem for Nighthawk AX6 (RAX50) - AX5400
Hi! I bought the Nighthawk AX6 (RAX50) - AX5400 Wifi Router and only now realised that I cannot use it with the coax cable. Currently, I am running the Nighthawk C7000 and hope now to use the C7000 a...

Following, I just want to use the C7000 as a cable modem and turn off the wireless part.

I figured it out. Here the steps:
1. Run C7000 as usual, make sure that DHCP is enabled
2. Connect the RAX-50 with a cable using the LAN1 port on C7000 and internet in port on RAX-50
3. Use a cabled connection with thw RAX-50, e.g. on Lan 1 and configure it
From this moment, the RAX-50 worked as a wireless router. Adjust setting as needed and disable DHCP
4. Disable the wireless networks on the C7000
Done.

Thank you for the guidance. How do I turn off the Wifi in the C7000? I don't see any clear option to do that in the app. Thank you.

You need to log into the router interface using routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar

So, for the c7000 you can login using the wireless. Check your manual for the password.
For the RAX-50, you need to connect the LAN cable for the setup, correct. You can use the browser log in similar to the c7000 but accessing the RAX-50 interface. Hope this helps and good luck.

Also, can you clarify "Use a cabled connection with thw RAX-50, e.g. on Lan 1 and configure it"?
Are you saying to connect via eithernet on the RAX and configure it via the ip address?
