I've had my RBR750 for months now, and there still is no word on an implementation of the Circle app for it. It was an expensive router, and i thought it would come with that feature right out of th...

I am very happy with the performance of this router (AX4200) and VERY disappointed that it has no supported parental controls. Coming from a Nest WIFI which had very simple and intuitive controls, this is a huge disappointment and would like to know when Netgear plans to support parental controls. Parental controls on a modern WIFI router is table stakes at this point and I'm in disbelief that it is not part of the package.

I've ordered Circles Home Plus, tired waiting for Netgear to enable this feature by default, will see how it goes. Maybe this is the plan all along to force people to buy extra piece of equipment?

I've recieved Circles Home Plus, it's absolute garbage, cannot properly detect network traffic and block activities on the network. I'm very disappointed.

Guess, it does not really matter to Netgear what customer really needs as long as they have folks keep buying this expensive paperweight.

Can you tell me how the Circle Plus worked with your router? I am needing parental controls and am looking at buying this router... though I really wish Netgear just had circle installed.

Circle Plus works with the Orbi 6 AX series, but with a caveat and some limitations. For instance, you have to run it in the "compatibility mode" instead of the standard mode. The downside? Your internet speed for the clients connected/managed on Circle are now throttled down to just 100 Mbps. So, if you have fast internet connection like FiOS, etc., you'll only get 100 Mbps. That, to me, is a pretty significant downside.

There are some issues (not sure if it's Circle or interoperability or compatibility issues with Orbi AX in general) but sometimes all internet traffic would just halt; I'd have to restart or reboot Circle to get everything connected again.
I'm also anxiously waiting for Netgear to offer an integrated solution - be it Circle or something else - with their Orbi AX Wi-Fi 6 mesh routers. It's a disgrace that at this price point, it's missing something as simple as parental controls.
