I have also tried going through the process to reset the admin password and each time I enter in a new pw, I am prompted to use the provided temp pw - every time it gives the same temp pw - @newdig - which never works.

It isn't easy to follow that. How are you trying to reset the admin password?

The a web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI) on a wired connection is safest.

The temporary password thing is odd.
