Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Nighthawk App product. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Nighthawk App and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general router" forum. Thank you for the reply. Unfortunatly that forum has no threads related to this issue that are not "solved" with an excuse about COX being the ISP.
Others are experiencing this issue and getting responses in this forum. I am going to try the method described here and let you all know if it worked:
