Anywhere Access Not Working

My anywhere access is not working. It says it is enabled, but when I am out or not connected to the my wifi at home it gives the following message: we can't find your router. In your device settings, ensure that your mobile device has WiFi or LTE turned on.

I have tried resetting, confirmed I am on the latest firmware. Not sure what else to do here.. Anyone have any advice?

Which Netgear device are you using?

    Which app? iOS? Android?

    Has it ever worked?

iOS. And yes it worked for over a year. Then switched off, and I wasn’t able to get it back on. Finally was able to get to to switch back on, but still can’t get it to work when I’m not at home or connected to my WiFi.

      I have the RAX120.

Sounds like you have lost the link to MyNetgear.

Did your troubleshooting get as far as a reset of the router?

You have to set up Anywhere Access with wifi first. Only then can you begin to roam.

Unfortunately, those apps can be very flaky. One version works and then it breaks. And the problem oscillates between iOS and Android
