I am using Nighthawk APP for my r6400. Can I add a second router from another second home location? Please advise how. Thank you

Yes - as documented. The device operating the App needs to be on the same local [W]LANnetwork as the router - you can't add it magically from remote for security reasons.

This answer may or may not have anything to do with the vague question in the first message.
I can certainly control two routers with the NIghthawk app. They are not on the same network.
It is called Anywhere Access.
