Blocked Device Network Map

Hi there,

In order to restrict miy daughter to watch online TV after certain hours I've purchased a Netgear R7000 Nighthawk router.

The blocked device has a static IP address and can simply be blocked by the Genie App in the Network Map view.

After the blocking of the device it is not possible to access the internet and as a result the PC is shut down to sleep mode.

As a result the blocked device vanishes from the network map and is no longer available for unblocking.

I want to unblock the restricted device after she's asleep (1 hour later) so that my daughter can access the internet the next morning when I'm off to work.

The only way to access the blocked device is when I manually wake up the restricted PC at night in order to unblock the device again from my app and shut it down again.

If I won't do this, this PC can only be unblocked when it's woken up the next morning, but in several cases it did not reappear in the Network Map and I was forced to reboot the Nighthawk router.

My question therefor; is there a way to access a blocked put -to-sleep-mode PC when it's disappeared from the Network Map.

My suggestion would be an easy way with my genie app to block an IP address on the router configuration regardless of the fact that the attached device is active or not.
