C3000-100NAS

I have an N300 WiFi cable and modem router. I added an extender. I accidentally hit “hide network” on my iPhone. Oops! How to I reverse the hidden network on my modem?

How did you tell it to hide the network? Was it an iPhone control or using a Netgear app?

If you made the setting on the iPhone, then you need to tell the iPhone to show it again.

  • The C3000 is an anemic router without much wifi capability. Before adding and extender, I'd be upgrading it to a better dual band router. You'd have better speeds/capabilities by upgrading an old N300 router to something AX or even an old decent AC router.

Or replace the C3000, now nearly 10 years old, with a standalone modem and separate router. That gives flexibility ion the choice of rputer and future proofs any change of modem technology.
