Is anyone else having issues connecting to the nighthawk app AND the genie app?

Isn't the C7800 conspicuously absent from the Nighthawk app compatibility list?
IOW - I tried the app and it *told* me the C7800 isn't compatible.

That wouldn't surprise me, although those lists, and Netgear's manuals, are notoriously inaccurate and out of date.
I assume that you tried the Netgear genie app. If both apps fail, you are forced to fall back on using the browser interface, an option that many people prefer, given the limited features that you get with the apps.
What is it on the modem/router that you are trying to manage?
Unfortunately, the firmware on your device is beyond the reach of Netgear.

Me? I was just trying to change wifi channels. Netgear finally fixed it by sending me a new router.
