Can I use my WNR3500L v2 as anetwork switch??
I had to get a Cox Cable modium (a newer NetGear C6300BD) and it is also a Router and WiFi unit, I am told I cannot run two routers on one system so had to disconnect me Netgear WNR3500L v2. BUT ...

Some routers have a built-in AP Mode setting. I don't think the WNR3500L has this setting. If it does, then skip steps 1-3 that I provided and use the Internet plug.
If it doesn't have an AP mode setting, then you must leave the Internet plug disconnected.
