can the router DGN2200 v1 be used with Genie App

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to use DGN2200 v1 with the Genie App (setting up parental control, USB storage etc)   regards

Yes, the NETGEAR Genie app should work with the DGN2200v1.

    Would you be able to tell me the difference between DGN2200 v1 and DGN2200 v4 ?

     

    Netgear Genie indicates "the router ddoes not support readyshare"

      Hi nathKent,

       

      Some functionality of the NETGEAR Genie may not work with the device like the ReadyShare feature since it does not show up on the list of supported devices. The DGN2200v4 however, is part of the supported list and is one of the differences. It also supports using one of the LAN ports (port 4) as a WAN port.

        thanks for replying. I have now a new DGN2200V4 and it is better. I don t need to restart the compute in reconfgure the router.
