Cannot disable Anywhere Access in Nighthawk (RAX70 Firmware Version V1.0.11.112)
I enabled "Anywhere Access" in Nighthawk from my smart phone, but it will not allow me to disable it now. When I try, I get this message: "This operation is not available using Anywhere Access". Is anyone else seeing this?

dhearn Yes, sorry, I glossed over a few steps. I have found that the following procedure works to disable Anywhere Access, assuming that the App is already connected to your router via Anywhere Access:
1. Connect to the router's local WiFi via your mobile device.
2. Run the Nighthawk app on your mobile device, click Home icon, and see if it's connected to your router Locally or via Anywhere Access. In my case, it always uses Anywhere Access if enabled even when local. If the screen has a GREEN dot next to your router model and says "Connected Locally", then skip to step 6. If it says "Connected via Anywhere Access" or if there's a RED dot, then continue to step 3.
3. Click on New Setup -> Get Started! -> WiFi Router -> Connect Manually -> Continue -> Continue -> Continue -> Continue -> Next. The app might prompt for your router's admin password, in which case you'll need to enter it. (Note this is the admin password, not the WiFi password)
4. The app will then say "Your Router is already set up". Click on the button that says "Skip, Return to Dashboard".
5. Now click on the Home icon again and there should be a GREEN dot next to your router name and it should say "Connected Locally".
6. Once you're connected locally, simply click on Settings -> Anywhere Access, and then move the "Enable Anywhere Access" slider switch to the left.
Caveats:
* Note that after you successfully do disable Anywhere Access you will find that there's an issue that will cause the Nighthawk app not to find your router anymore when the app is executed, so you'll have to go through the "New Setup" steps 3-5 above every time you want to access your router locally. That's apparently a bug in the app.
* Also it's my belief that disabling Anywhere Access doesn't actually disable remote management of our routers (I think the setting is just saved in the app since it gets turned back on if the app is reinstalled or if you install the app on another phone), but that's another story.
* Also you will notice that running the Nighthawk app will also re-enable broadcast of your SSID on the 5GHz band (if you happened to have it hidden before). That's another app bug.

You can only disable Anywhere Access when connected locally. In my experience, I cannot connect locally until I go through Settings -> New Setup -> then hit "Next" for about 10 screens until it says it's already configured and then go to Dashboard. Once you're connected locally, you can go into settings and disable Anywhere Access.
BTW, even after you do this, I don't think this is actually disabling router remote management on the router itself, however, since if you delete and re-install the app you'll find that Anywhere Access is magically re-enabled.

Thanks for the advice. I assumed I was on my local network, but that's a good point! So I disabled my mobile connection & accessed my LAN via wifi. Same outcome. "This operation is not available using Anywhere Access". I'm not sure where you're connecting to for the "Settings -> New Setup -> then hit "Next" for about 10 screens". In Nighthawk, I go into Settings, but Settings has no "New Setup". I see New Setup on the 1st page below Setup, but there is not "Next" there. The options are WiFi Router, Range Extender, Cable Modem Router, NIGHTHAWK Mesh System & LTE Router.
