Can't download firmware update
I am using the above model# Netgear N600 wireless dualband gigabyte router since 2012. When I go to my Netgear Genie and go to Router Settings I see a message in orange at the top of screen that say...
It is generally better to download from the support pages. Things are less likely to go wrong than doing things over wifi.
I have had firmware updates that actually killed the wifi and required some messing around via the web interface to get it back.
