Can't login to Android Genie app

I can't login to Android Genie app. The genie website works fine on my phone. But for some reason, with the app, I can't login to genie. When I enter my default user and password on the apo, it just says "connect to your routers wifi" and then it loops back to the login page. And I'm connected to my Netgear wifi. So I don't get what's the problem. The device I'm using is the Netgear AC1200 Network Extender.

    Hi AlexC68,

     

    The NETGEAR Genie app is design to work best with a NETGEAR router and may not work with an extender.

    The Android-app also doesn't work with an NETGEAR router.
    Make another "design" and fix this problem!

    I get the same thing with my c6300 and I connected threw my wifi writing this email but it keeps saying please connect to router when I am already and I don't have an extender. I have tried to do remote access and says I am not compatible. I also did a factory reset and still the same thing.

    Hi Suarezrm95,

     

    The C6300 is not among the supported devices for the remote login feature.
