Can't open genie on windows 10

Windows 10 will not let me open netgear genie, I am not a computer expert so I am having to do a lot of research. I tried downloading the netgear genie app for windows but that doesn't download eith...

why not just log in through the browser? 

go to routerlogin.net or 192.168.100.1

then log in through that route.

    I have tried that too! It says that the page is not working "error_invalid_HTTP_response"

    I have tried going through the browser, app, nothing works.

      Have you tried a different device?

      What device are you trying on? 

      Are you able to browse the internet? 

      What are all the led's doing on the router? (color, blinking, etc)

      did you try the 192.168.100.1?
