317 views, and no one knows how to do this ?
i need the ability to log into router and dissconnect a device ( ip, mac - whatever ) if my son is not doing what he is told. I then would need to log back in and "unclick" a box, to allow him back on internet,
does this exist? I know DLINKs had this ability.
I am used to using Gargoyle Custom firmware, but I can't tell if this router can use Gargoyle.

Hi northernwarrior,
You can setup the Access Control feature of the device in order for you to be able to manage which devices can and cannot connect to the network. You may refer to the link below for the instructions:

Why is the only answer "access" control? Sure if the device is disconnected, you can make it stay that way. How do we disconnect a "connected" device????
Maybe add it to block list and then .....??? is there a way to force the device via MAC to renew its address or something allowing the newly added block to actually take effect?

Hi @merlyn277,
1. You can disconnect a connected device through the method used below.
2. You can prevent any device from connecting to the network using the method below through the option "Block all new devices from connecting".
