Does the CAX30 have remote access via browser?
I bought two CAX30 modems based on Netgear telling me that they have true remote access. I have one connected via Access Anywhere but it is not the same as older Netgear modems that allow full remote access from a browser on my PC. Do the CAX30 modems have browser access, or is Access Anywhere all I can do with them?

You may find that this no longer works, regardless of the router you have. It is one of the features that Netgear has removed by stealth, along with ReadyCLOUD and the free version of parental controls.
Why is the Remote Management feature being removed from NETGEAR routers? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Remote Management is now Anywhere Access in the Nighthawk and Orbi apps | Answer | NETGEAR Support
By the way, you refer to "Netgear modems". That is a feature of modem/routers rather than modems, which have little in the way of external access.
As you have the CAX30, you might do better to visit the section that covers cable modem/routers:
Cable Modems & Gateways - NETGEAR Communities

Thanks! I sure miss the old days...

Netgear was my go-to for so many years streaming cams onto websites managing ports and access from my office even when vast distances were between me and my cameras.
I can reboot remotely which is a big one, but to do any real configuration requires I be on the LAN and appears to be a reason for me to look elsewhere. I have used Motorola before that worked, so might need to revisit.
