Firmware will not update from the app
I’m trying to update the router firmware from the app. It goes through the steps and reboots but at the end it always says to update and the firmware version stays the same with no update. I’m a novice at this.

If it is at all possible, a wired connection from a PC is a better bet.

It is safer than any connection that uses wifi, and is what Netgear often recommends in the release notes for new firmware.
