General streaming device???
I keep getting a generic streaming device. I have no clue what it belongs to. Has anyone figured out this issue?

No wife's phone is labeled and I am not home. This happened on another AC1700. This is now the 3rd one replaced my Netgear. I don't understand what it could be. 1st one I had showed "Generic Streaming service" the second did not. Now the new one about a week old is showing that.

you should be able to click on it and gets its mac address and ip address.
You might be able to find what it is with the mac address. There's plenty of mac address lookup tools online

it looks like its connected via wifi. Change your wifi ssid and/or password.
then connect your devices one by one and see which one shows up.
Or maybe its a neighbor with your access info.

Thanks. Now for the past week I have been getting kicked off and have to restart every night around 9PM before I call them. Any fixes for this?

If this is a new issue, lets start a new thread to prevent confusion.
Go over what actual router you have, the modem its connected to, firmware on the router, etc
