Yes, the WNDR3400v2 does support the NETGEAR Genie app but is not among the supported devices for the Remote Login feature. The link below indicates the supported models.

I am having the same issue.
Router is WNDR3400v2
Firmware version V1.0.0.54
My Android Genie App says "Does Not Support Remote Access"
This site says my router does support Remote Access:

My Desktop Genie on my PC does not give me the Remote Access option to "Login As:" even when I have logged out.
