Genie bypass account doesn't work on Mac since updated genie

I had typed in the model number. How strange that it doesn't show.

Latest firmware is installed
It was the latest version of Genie. I've uninstalled it by dragging to trash and then I searched for netgear genie files in my library folders and deleted all that I found.
Bypass accounts work on my iPad and sons and husband's phones.

Have you tried re-installing the app on the Mac and checked if it worked?

I have reinstalled from scratch on the Mac and am waiting to see if I still get blocked on a page that shouldn't be. So far, so good.
It seemed to work for awhile and then it quit working again. Not sure what to do about it now. If I look at the "network map," it shows that the computer that I am on is in a bypass login, but it is not working.
