Genie doesn´t work together windows 8 and IOS
If the PC (win8) is turned on, I can log into the router (R8000) with Genie PC, but it is impossible to log into the router by Iphone or Ipad (using Genie app). When the R8000 identifies the PC, the Genie Apple devices stop to work and display the message “router netgear was not found or not compatible”. With the PC turn off (without power) or the Ethernet cable disconnect, I can log into the router with Genie Iphone or Ipad.
If the PC is turned on I can log into http://routerlogin.net by PC or by Iphone/Ipad.
Note:PC is wired and the Iphone and Ipad are wireless
If someone knows the solution, please tell me.

Do this only if you feel comfortable doing Firmware updates.
A little background, when I first purchased my R8000, I upgraded the Firmware via Internet. After that, I was experiencing the same issues you have.
My solution was to download the Firmware to my HDD and do a Manual Re-Flash of the latest Firmware.
