How to reset my password if I dont remember date of purchase?

Somehow my router reset and is making my type in my password to access internet. However, the password on the back does not work. I am trying to register to login to reset my password but I dont remember purchase date. So now I have a product I cannot use because I cannot do a simple thing as register to reset password.
