i want use another router as access point for netgear d1500

i mean&nbsp;i want use netgear as my basic routerthe older one tplink as access point&nbsp;will they be same net name and password or different ?&nbsp;

thank ujust i have one Q to uif i used the secondary router "older one" &nbsp;will the signal of first router "netgear " signal improve ?? or an another separate network will be found if i used second routeri hope u understand me&nbsp;
