Do you not see Network Map while on the Extenders screen in the app?
- sekoppOct 11, 2022Aspirant
Yes. I see the map in both views.
I am having issues dragging and dropping files or browsing and dropping files.

I am trying a different browser.

Here is the extender view.
It only allows one update per post...

What happens when you enter the EX page on the app, then close it then reopen it? Does it still connect to the EX or the router?
Selecting the host router causes this error to appear?
Can you use the 3 horizontal lines and then select the router from the product list seen here?
Are you using the NETWORK19 default SSID name on the host router?
I would recommend you submit a bug report to NG as well:

If I enter the EX view, it will always come back to that page. Then, if I try to reconnect to the server (from the map), I get the spinning circle for a long time and it eventually fails. If I exit and re-open the app, it either still fails or returns to the EX view for login.
Another issue is that I choose to save my password for the extender, but I must ALWAYS re-enter my login information. The router view retains my login information.
In my opinion, it is just poorly designed software. In my opinion it is damaging to Netgear's reputation since they push it so much and it performs so poorly.
I wouldn't use it at all if I could access the extender from my desktop. I have found no way to do so. I cannot find an IP address on the extender.
I would not have to check the extender so much if I did not have issues with the things that attach to it.
Now it appears that I will not have a solution.
I have sent three screen shot to you as asked, but it seems that you are not getting them. If you were, you would not be asking me these follow up questions. I had to reply three times to send each of the screen shots.
Not a happy Netgear camper...
