"iPhone Nighthawk app" just doesn't want to connect to the router
I have the same issue as the person that post on 4/3/2023; I can connect to my CAX30 router via my WiFi-connected laptop (and I have changed the router password and confirmed that I can connect to the router with the new pasword) but for some reason the "iPhone Nighthawk app" just doesn't want to connect to the router - but the iPhone is on the WiFi network..

What happens when you try? Any error messages?
Is this on a local connection to the WiFi network or via Anywhere Access over the Internet?
What is the firmware version on the CAX30? (Please don't day "the latest" because that means nothing.)

Ok. Thank you for reaching out to me about this issue; I will try to answer the questions:

1. The iPhone is able to connect to the WiFi network and another iPhone and two laptops all can access the WiFi network.
2. Router "Login and Password" both verified by logging in to the router from this laptop - on the same WiFi network.
3. On the iPhone Nighthawk app at "Login Required: Log in with your admin credentials to manage your router settings." I enter my admin and password. I select "Sign In". After several minutes (maybe just two minutes) there is an error box that displays "Login timed out, plese try again. If the issue persists, try rebooting your device."
4. have rebooted device; same error.

this is through selecting "tappingthe Nighthawk app on the iPhone" a d the app displays "Detecting Product Nighthawk AX6 CAX30" and an icon that indicates it is "trying to connect", and after a moment of trying, a "Login Required" screen displays, and this is step 1 above.

When I log into the router on this laptop the version is expresses as:
Firmware Version V2.1.3.10

That is not firmware for any of the variants of the CAX30 that I can find on the Netgear website.
Have you seen this?
Not the same problem at all, but worth reading.
The symptoms you describe are depressingly familiar.

This is one of those bugs that comes and goes between different versions of the app.
There are various things that people try to get round it, like uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
The fact that you can connect to the WiFi suggests that this one isn't involved:
