Is lan bridge mode on D1500 possible?

I've always used cheap modem/router as bridged modem connected to a better router, but I noticed that in Netgear D1500 is not possible to do so. I'm not interested in wifi bridge, just using it like ...

You can disable DHCP so wouldn't that work for you? As for what chip it uses I have no idea.

    Disabling DCHP doesn't seem to work. Even with it switched off, the router still assigns IP adresses.
