is the a nighthawk app for mac os without using the app store
im unable to download the nighthawk app through my old mac os, it only allows certain apps to be downloaded. is there another way?

There is no Nighthawk App for any macOS - it exists for iOS and Android only.
The Genie App remains available for the moment for MacOS and WIndows - https://www.netgear.com/home/discover/apps/genie.aspx - click away the misleading marketing poop.
