Issues with nighthawk app not connecting wiy

Got my internet working fine all connected and running, but everytime i download nighthawk app. It says i need to update firmware to continue, and its updated and the app just won't connect. Took a screenshot of what my app says.

    its a problem with the app. the app shouldn't be checking firmware on the combo devices as the home user can't update firmware. It has to come from the ISP. 

    I'd just just the browser to connect to it and not the app.
