Login failed to Nighthawk app

When I attempted to log in...here's the message after creating the account to Nighthawk app and setting password.

 

Login failed. Please re-enter the correct admin password for your NETGEAR router.

 

I entered the Network Key located on the device and it gave me the same error message.  I tried resetting my account password on Netgear directly but i think they are two separate issues and passwords.

 

My goal IF I can log in is to change the password to the router.
