My R6120 router keeps kicking off
I bought a Netgear R6120 (AD1200) dual band router from Wal-Mart. I didn't think anything of it, because Netgear....solid brand, RIGHT???? NOPE!!!! So, here is what happened. My old router kept kic...

I did not use WIFI to set up my router.
Here is the steps I took:
1) Turned off my modem
2) Turned off my existing router
3) Removed the Ethernet cable from the back of my existing router.
4) Turned my modem back on
5) Plugged the Ethernet cable into the back of the R6120 router.
6) Turned on the R6120 router.
7) Opened up a browser page and the Netgear setup Genie appeared.
8) Set up the PW for the admin.
9) Firmware update detection screen appeared. No new FW.
10) I was connected to the router and the internet.
11) I DL the Netgear confirmation app.
12) Opened the app to change the network PW from default.
13) There was a 90s count down.
14) The router kicked ALL of my devices off.
15) Reset the router to default and set it up again. Did not change the PW
16) All was well for a few hours.
17) Got up this morning and I could not get on my network.
