Hi @Gaseousroom3,
1. Try performing a power cycle (turning off and on) on the router.
2. If a power cycle does not resolve the issue, please perform a factory reset.
Resetting the router will delete your configuration. You will have to reconfigure the router or restore a backup configuration file. You may refer to the links below for the steps.

We installed a prior model and had an issue with the Parental Controls on OpenDNS with the Genie not talking to OpenDNS. Now, the whole reason we got this router was to provide these controls, BUT the Genie does not talk to OpenDNS. No matter what, we cannot access the bypass accounts or get the proper setup using the Genie. It simply will not access. Most frustrating.
It would seem the Genie software (which we updated), is the issue, since it will NOT communicate with OpenDNS.
WTH?

Hi FrUSA,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Are you able to sign in to your OpenDNS account through the NETGEAR Genie on any/all of your devices?
3. Did you already have an OpenDNS account or did you sign up through the NETGEAR Genie program/app?
4. If you check the router UI, are the DNS values set to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220?
5. If you are able to sign in to your OpenDNS account through the NETGEAR Genie, does the issue (filtering is not working) affect all devices?
