Net Gear Genie and Mac OSx El Capitan

You may try the following steps and please keep us posted on the results.
1. Log into the standard account.
2. Reinstall the Netgear genie app if it was removed.
3. Navigate to Applications folder.
4. Press and hold Control key and click on genie app icon and select Get info option.
5. Once the NETGEARGenie Info dialog box opens up click on Sharing & Permissions option to expend it.
6. Click on the Lock icon in the bottom right of the Window to enable editing of the options.
7. Click on the + icon in bottom left and double-click the standard account you want to add from the list of accounts under Users & Groups option.
8. Once the account is added it will get Ready Only permission for the NETGEAR genie app.
9. Click on the Lock icon in bottom right again to lock the permissions.
10. You should now be able to use the NETGEAR genie app without any issues.Regards,

better yet can you tell us how to uninstall? what is the app even installing that makes it unwelcome to the apple app store/recognized developers. seems we all should be more than a little concerned here.
i've dragged to trash but expect there's more entrails to be found in system folders, please advise. thanks
