Net gear genie app on iPhone not working

Cannot access router local or remote via net gear genie app on my iphone 6.

Says Login failed, router was not found or is not supported. It was working fine until I updated

firmware to V1.0.1.18_10.0.20.  I am on app version 3.1.36 and IOS 11.0.3

    Hi Steverosey and CubsFan5476,

     

    1. Please make sure a factory reset is done after updating the router's firmware.

    2. Have you tried using another device (computer, another mobile device [Android, iOS])?

    3. Have you tried re-installing the app?

        Not able to reset until next week due to travel schedule. However very concerned about doing factory reset and losing all settings. Support took almost hour to originally getting me working. And out of free support??
